Virtual Services. Stay Home And Get Your Problems Solved
One day before his 51st birthday, Daniel Garcia, a beloved maintenance supervisor for the Scotts Valley Unified School District, was thrown from his motorcycle after colliding with a Jeep whose driver made an illegal U-turn in front of him. The father of five died ten days later at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
Friends and colleagues told Santa Cruz Sentinel reporter Shanna McCord that Garcia was a “great friend” who could be counted on to fix any problem at the school facilities. Garcia was also known as the “logistics coach” for the Scotts Valley football team, where his son plays varsity and where Garcia’s selfless and energetic support earned him great admiration from players and school officials alike. Our hearts go out to Garcia’s family and to the friends and colleagues who will miss him greatly.
While nothing can bring back a loved one killed in a tragic accident like this, families may obtain compensation through a wrongful death claim. They may be entitled to medical expenses; funeral and burial costs; economic damages for the financial contributions the decedent might have made to the family if he or she had lived; and damages for loss of love, society, companionship, comfort, and affection. Attorneys who focus on wrongful death cases can often help families promptly obtain better settlements than they might otherwise get from an insurance company directly. My firm will assist in handling the legal details that help alleviate some of the heavy burden your grieving family is going through so please call us today for a free consultation and review of your serious injury or wrongful death case. If you cannot come to us, we will come to you. .
